vendredi 14 avril - en bas, en haut, et du chocolat chaud

Today started with getting in line at the Catacombs.
When we arrived at 8:45, we were almost the first people in line!

Here is the line at 8:45 a.m.

Here is the line at 9:15 a.m.
We were happy to be there early because the Catacombs open at 10 a.m.

Playing UNO in the line.

Elle joined us for our Catacombs visit!  Elle took French 1 at Alcott during her senior year, and is studying abroad in Bordeaux this year!

Arrete!

Don't touch anything, and no smoking in the Catacombs!

Why is it blurry??

Now, let's go look at some puppies.

C'est mignon!

Next: Tour Montparnasse, the tallest skyscraper in Paris

View from the 56th floor!

"The highest selfie in Paris!" on the rooftop

View of La Tour Eiffel

Bon appétit!  Let's have a picnic on top of this skyscraper!

A métro transfer.  Brian decided to have a race with everybody else on the moving walkway.

Madame Maurel, one of our chaperones of the day, pointed out that this is the location of the window where Michael Jackson introduced his baby to the world.

"Everybody, go stand by a tree."  :)
Walking through le Jardin des Tuileries

Walking down Rue de Rivoli to Angelina.

Another great day!  The students are going to spend the weekend with their host families.  Each host family has a lot of fun and different activities planned, so we're all excited to hear stories and see pictures when we attend school with our hosts on Tuesday.

Bon week-end!
