We had a beautiful and busy day today! The weather was amazing!
The day started at with a 9 a.m. guided tour at the Fragonard Perfume Museum. The guide had many interesting facts to share with us, including:
- The word perfume (parfum in French) is derived from the Latin word per fumus, which means through smoke
- Louis XV was worried about catching diseases from water, so he only took two baths a year! (and wore a lot of perfume!)
- The brand Fragonard is sold only in France

Then we got to test our noses to see which perfumes we liked...
and if we could tell what notes were added to each one (rose, jasmine, vanilla, etc..)
Next, we went to Paris Story to watch a 50-minute movie about monuments we were going to see later that day!
Then, we went 7th floor terrace at the Galeries Lafayette department store for a beautiful view of the city.

We finished the day at a café, where everybody ordered a drink in French (un café, un citron pressé, un thé, un coca, une limonade, etc.)
Today's Photo Theme of the Day was: CLOUDS.
Oddly enough, it was a sunny day, so not too many clouds to choose from, but we are okay with that!
